For over 15 years, DILAS has served its customers worldwide with innovative product solutions in the field of semiconductor diode lasers. With more than 200 employees, DILAS designs, develops and manufactures quality high-power diode lasers across a broad product range for different markets like:

• pumping solid state lasers (DPSSL’s)
• materials processing
• graphic arts
• medical
• defense

DILAS was founded in October 1994 with eight employees and based its future on developing a new generation of high-power diode lasers. In 1997, ROFIN-SINAR Technologies Inc. took a 95%- stake in DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH.

Since then, DILAS has been able to grow its business and at the same time expand its facilities several times. DILAS operates facilities in Tucson, Arizona, as well as a sales office in Shanghai, China, and a manufacturing facility in Nanjing, China. To further focus on developing and manufacturing turnkey diode laser systems, in October 2008 DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH announced the formation of its new division, DILAS Industrial Laser Systems.
