Rofin SL Manual I Advanced
SLM I

Rofin’s all-in-one laser
workstation SL Manual I sets standards in user-friendly and efficient workpiece
processing.
High efficiency laser marking
Rofin’s SL Manual I is the
result of several decades of experience in laser marking. The compact laser
workstation is ready for operation in no time and capable of realising a wide
range of applications.
This advantage is attributable to the system’s
modular concept, which integrates various different laser markers out of Rofin’s
product line. Thus, the system provides users with a great choice of different
application possibilities for efficient marking of small- and medium-sized
batches.
Easier handling for enhanced efficiency
The SLM I advanced
features glove-box type access, which allows easy handling of the workpiece
within the closed operation area. With this concept, users can load and mark
entire series of smaller workpieces without having to open the door.
As a
consequence, cycles times are reduced significantly. With both the SLM I basic
and the SLM I advanced, standard loading and unloading are carried out through
the top-lifting front covering. For the marking of cylindrical pieces, an
optional rotary axis is available.
Modern operation convenience
As
regards the design of the SLM I housing, Rofin puts additional emphasis on
ergonomics to ensure comfortable working – even during long shifts. Rofin meets
its customers’ individual needs by offering the workstation as seated or
standing design.
The big colour TFT-display, the keyboard and the
touchpad mouse are integrated into a swivel-mounted operation interface.
Additionally, a large observation window grants direct insight into the spacious
operating area.
Compact, mobile and independent
In spite of its
compact dimensions, the housing of the SL Manual I accommodates all supply
units. Thus, the system only requires little room, which contributes to an
efficient and flexible use of the production area. Furthermore, the SLM I can be
moved to a different location without any technical changes on the workstation.
